Hello, I am trying to research if I can use the HASS integration with UNVR locally for motion detection sensors, I do not want the camera system to be accessible outside my local network (with the exception of having alerts fed trough HASS with the machine running connected to two networks one with internet, the other one with the camera setup). From what I have read on the docs you create a local user in the UNVR which seems to be on the right track. Also I don't have any equipment atm since I want to research before buying into an expensive system. If you have a system like this or a recommendation for a different system that would work in the way I want it to, could you please share your experience/knowledge? Thank you for replies in advance.

Yes. I pretty much have the setup you described. However, I’m currently not triggering any automations based on motion.
I do not need any automation as this would be purely an alert system, how many sensors do you have? And how much do you think HASS could handle? Thanks for the answer
Here are all the default sensors created with the integration:
Assuming HA can handle them all 🤷
I am only interested in the motion sensor on each device so I will see, but this seems pretty good ig
I will have like 25 devices after the 2nd installation of cameras -> 25 sensors, could be more in the future, as I said b4 I only want the alerts for motion and maybe a photo included.
