I have an Inovelli white series dimmer switch and I'm trying to find the "minimum dim level" configuration but it's not there. Is there someway I can either manually set configuration parameters or double check that all values are correctly setup?

Not all of the switches configuration parameters are available thru Matter mode select, only so many can be displayed thru matter and the Inovelli devs have to program it in the firmware. Then only a few ecosystems even show us the Mode select options, such as HA.
For that parameter the only way I know to adjust is thru the local configuration on the switch.

Damn, configuring the switch through buttons sounds like a huge pain. Is there a finite list of what things can be configurable through Matter? I'm wondering if this is a deficiency in only the Inovelli firmware or if Matter/HA would require some updates as well

I would assume there is some limit, but pretty sure inovelli has not reached that yet. They have taken settings in Matter further than anyone else I know of to date and. as a beta tester for them, I can say they have more coming. prioritizing limited developer time as well as understanding of these, so far, little used aspects of the matter spec among several switches and firmwares.

For the most part expect both: Inovelli would need to expose this Parameter in a new Matter switch Firmware, then it may or may not require some tweaks to the HA Matter Server to display/work properly in HA.

Would you suspect the zigbee interface provides more options? I don’t have any zigbee switches so don’t know if the they ultimately still reply on Matter despite the alternate connection

100% inovelli Zigbee firmware has the more complete Parameter options. Zigbee has been in use for many years before Matter over thread was even conceived. Inovelli just started their Matter over thread journey, but have had years to dev the zigbee/zwave firmwares. they have made huge strides relative to others in short amount of time, but the multi-year zigbee head start means its a more finished/polished firmware/integration from inovelli and HA today.
