TLDR: I have a strip of LEDs controlled by WLED. The ESP32 board with WLED and the LEDs themselves are powered by an outlet controlled by a smart switch. I did this simply bc I didnt want the power supply on all the time and the WLED being the on/off switch. (Hoping this would prolong the life of all parts in the setup...jury is still out on that if its paying dividends) I digress. I have OCD and when I kill the power to the outlet, the WLED integration shows it failed to setup the LEDs. I want to run an automation that disables the two devices before or after shutting the power, so I don't see the red box around the integration panel.
Simple question, is there a way to automate disabling devices?
