Smart Plugs with thermostat.

Hello all!

So I have a small dummy heater that I want to control via a smart plug to turn on and off, pretty basic, however since it is a heater, I had the idea of maybe a smart plug with a thermostat, that way I can also set it to turn manually, or have it only turn on when it drops below a temperature.

The thing is I am slightly new to HA, I am struggling to know the decent products for HA. I don't want a plug that relies on third party servers or clouds, I just want to plug that fool in and connect it to my network.
Ideally AU/NZ plugs, though I can use adapters.

you can do this through home assistant if you have both a normal smart plug and a temp sensor integrated by using the "generic thermostat" helper.

or do you specifically want one that can do it all in a single device independently and offline from anything(including HA)

in terms of offline smart plugs. Athom make a model for AU/NZ running ESPHome which will work with HA out the box

I was hoping for an AIO device honestly but if I have to I can always go with two separate devices. I was looking at athom since I bought a bulb from there, there sites a lil bit of a pain to navigate though so maybe the exact thing I want is there!
