This is REALLY strange. I cannot turn of any automations. They all revert to switching back on
see the attached movie.
config check passes, no errors during startup. Latest HA version

All automations are working fine, I just cannot turn them on OR off. Seems that this also affects automations that are turned off. Turn them on and they then immediatly turn off.

If you look at the entity history, is it actually toggling off then on, or is it just never changing at all?

ok this is BIZARRE. screen on left is my browser. screen on right is the HA App on MacOS

so it would appear my browser is getting a command to turn the switch back on....

I believe when you send the toggle to the server, if you don't get the state change response back within ~2s it flips back in the UI.
Your browser has like a broken connection to the server or something.

that what it looks like. I was chasing my tail on an ESP GPIO that was doing this for hours yesterday. now I see it was probably fine all along...

I would hesitate to say it's a bug, more likely something is broken on your specific system, but it's possible it could be a bug 🤷
