What are the best options for in-panel home energy monitoring these days? | Home Assistant | Page 1

I'm aware of the Refoss EM16 and the Emporia Vue 3 as credible options, but both of them only come with 16 branch circuit monitors. Is there anything works with Home Assistant that could do 20 or 24 branch circuits?

You likely would need to diy something or simply utilize the magic of buying two

Don't forget the vue3 needs to be flashed for best performance and local operations which is a bit of a pickle

Is there something hard about flashing it? I assume it's no different than flashing other devices, right?

No it's just very small probe points

There is a 3d printable holder for them but it needs a bit of tuning. Just isn't as easy as plugging in a USB cable ^^

Oh shrug whatever. I'm an electrical engineer and I am extremely well equipped for trivial stuff like that.

I typically just solder straight to the esp32 for reflashing OTS devices.
