Virtual thermostat helper with both heating and cooling

Hello i wanted to know if there is a way to make a virtual thermostat with a helper to control the temperature in my room i tried using the generic thermostat helper but it seems like it supports only heat or cooling mode

Explain your problem more and how are you looking to control the temperature in your room. What about the generic thermostat won't solve your problem?
