Following the install instructions, I put JP1 to USB, plugged in the USB-C cable to my mac, held the black reset button next to the SSD, then plugged in my ethernet cable (POE). For reference, it is pluging directly into a Ubiquity POE++ switch.

I do have a SSD installed, it is a SP gen 3 NVME SSD

The D5 light flashes green and D4 flashes red, but no other activity is noticed. Did I do something wrong?

Attached is a video. Hard to see, but the middle LED lights up green at the same time

(Didn't hold the reset button, not enough hands, but the same things happens, just a single flash)

It's plugged into port 48, no detection

If you remove the NVMe, does the LED behavior change?
And check, if the CM5 is fully inserted in its sockets.

How does it behave on power up with JP1 in UART position without NVMe and what CM5 are you using?

Sounds like a power issue. Do you have a compatible power brick with the barrel jack at hands?

I can look for one, though it is hooked up to a UniFi USW-Pro-Max 48 port switch with only 15% usage on power

and I have tried two different cables (one provided and one of mine)
