Set max on time per day for an automation.

Hi, i have an air purifier that runs quite loud, so id like it to only run when im not at home. Currently ive set up the following automations,
When i leave the home, it turns on for 30min
When i come back home, it detects if the device is on. If it is on it turns off.

Some days im running in and out of the home to do some quick errands. And then its gonna be turned on every time i leave the house. So it might add up to a few hours. My question is therefore, is there a way of setting a hard set max time per day, say 30min. So lets say if i run out and come back 15 min later its gonna turn off, then next time i run out again it'll detect that it hasnt been on for 30min that day so its gonna run for the remaining time?

you could use a History Stats Helper to track how much time its been on today, then add a condition to the automation that switches it on, to only trigger if sub 30 mins. and add an automation to turn it off when it hits 30 minutes

you can set it to show "how long has the air purifier been switched on today" so yes
