#Possible memory leak in HA Core?

My Home Assistant crashed once due to a memory issue. To figure out whether it was caused by Home Assistant Core or an add-on, I enabled the sensor.home_assistant_core_memory_percent entity. The value keeps going up steadily, so it seems like Core might be the problem.

do you have any custom addons/integrations?

I don't have any custom integrations, but I do use the AdGuard add-on, Matter, Open Thread Border Router, Cloudflared, and Vaultwarden. I'm monitoring the RAM and CPU usage of all of them, and none of them show any unusual usage — only Home Assistant Core keeps gradually using more and more RAM over time.

thats odd, i guess you should probably make an issue in the core repo and include all the information you can. that will probably get more eyes on it that way (and also more eyes that understand it better 😛 )

@Tobi : just to ask, do you run music assistant? I had the same memory increasement, found out it was related to music assistant in combination with squeezelite provider.

I don't use Music Assistant or the Synology integration.
