How come the consumed battery doesn't specify which battery it's coming from? I have two batteries that I track and the energy dashboard combines consumption from both as "consumed battery".
I'm not looking for what's consuming the battery just that it shows how much is coming out of each battery the same as it shows how much is going into each battery.

I guess just nobody thought it was relevant enough to make that distinction.
It doesn't show which solar panel is being consumed either.
True! That would be awesome to have also.
I see you do a lot of work with the energy dashboard. ( Thank you! ) Is the data there and could be pulled out?
One issue is that the data on the top of the line is the "consumed" energy, not simply the solar produced, or the amount that comes out of your battery.
So if you have two solar panels producing, say 5kW and 6kW. Maybe then your house uses 8kW and sends 3kW to the battery.
The bar at the top will say 8kWh consumed. But we can't really say from which panel it was consumed.
so it will be kind of ambiguous result
there are some cases where it could work, and some cases where it might not
True i figured it would have to an assumption maybe percentage based. Would the batteries with dedicated output be easier to implement?
it would be kind of the same situation. if some battery was consumed and some sold to grid, then again which one is which can't be determined.
But as long as you consumed 100% of your battery output, I guess it could say from which battery it came.
In my situation ( I know we need to think of the general users ) that would b perfect as my batteries are off grid
We do something similar like this for grid currently. If you have multiple grid inputs, we show which one is being consumed, but if it's some ambiguous case where we can't determine, we just clump them together and say "combined from grid"
I have experienced this a couple times with my time of use tariffs
I would suggest write your proposal in a feature request.
I'm not going to promise anything, but you can at least get some feedback from other users if that would be a popular idea.
