What is the best way to prevent voices from TV/Computer from interfering with the satellite

When I try to use the Voice Preview I sometimes run into the fact that it also gets the voices from my TV or Computer making it really annoying to use voice. Because it processes those queries too, (But amazing that it hears all of it when the volume is already low on the device ) Is there a way (without automations to set volumes, already did that for TV. Works some of the time and sometimes not) to have it "learn" how I sound so it filters out the voices it doesnt recognize? Kinda what Google Assistant does.

If this is not possible, is there something on the roadmap that could assist with this really peculiar thingy?

you can try changing the "finsihed speaking detection" to aggressive which may help a bit but means you have to get on with any voice commands and not pause in speaking to it.

however you are correct this is an issue. this will likely improve in the future as more stuff is added but realistically there is no timeline for this currently

Ah alright! Its currently on default, because my ADHD speaks too fast for my own mind to make sentences. I will make a few automations to force speaker volumes down then until its finished

yeah an automation to mute tv whilst its listening is a workable solution and i have seen people use that before

It currently puts the tv to 5 (LG C3) but more often than not it fails to set the volume back to what it was 😦

So I need to make improvements there

yeah can work on that for sure. hopefully you can get it working just the way you need it to
