#Need help setting up Eufy with HA

Mind sharing your situation, what you've tried and what you've all experienced, including logs/errors?
Sure thing
I installed the eufy security add on and also go2rtc but was not able to get far with go2rtc. The only thing that I was able to do was rtsp, but it was very inconsistent.
@safe kindle
ya im having a heack off a time also , did get them in kinda with the hacs version of eufy security but you never know if they will work for real
Exactly bro, thats why im just considering using HomeKit or google
So what is it you're looking to do. Did you install the Eufy integration as well, which is what connects to the add-on? That would give you control, visibility, etc into your cameras
Looking to have my wall light cameras on the dashboard with some sort of card that can play the live feed if motion is dected or the card is pressed

Were you able to get most of that setup with what you mentioned above? The instructions https://github.com/fuatakgun/eufy_security tell you just about how to do all of that. (I'm not sure that you can actually have them auto-play)
y ai got it set up kind of , the instructions are outdate , as you would expect for anything in HA written more then 15 min ago , but section 4 defiantly doesn't work as expected .
how did you get it working? i got the cameras added, but im struggling with the Web/Go2rtc section
Not sure how to add the streams or where to put the script
Are you referring to the code here: https://github.com/fuatakgun/eufy_security?tab=readme-ov-file#4-setting-up-your-dashboard-for-camera or something else? The 2 snips there are intended for your dashboard, that uses the custom card you'd install with the WebRTC component

Both, i haven't messed with setting up dashboard cards yet, and also, im not sure how to check whether or not the camera function is working
Alright, i've figured out how to manage the cards a bit better, but im still struggling with setting up the RTSP on my cameras. Eufy and a ton of people say it's still possible, but i can't seem to actually enable it
What part is causing you issues
Well, supposedly all my eufy cams support RTSP, i can't seem to enable it in the app, and other people have had similar problems, but some people say they've found a solution but haven't said what exactly it is
But what do you mean by "can't seem to enable it in the app"? You can't find the setting, it's on but you can't connect to the RTSP stream, something else...?
As in, i go into the app where everyone says the "enable RTSP" setting is, and it doesn't exist
Which camera are you referring to
and where do you believe the setting is in the app
By enabling RTSP (Real Time Streaming Protocol) on a specific eufyCam, the system will save all its recorded videos to your compatible NAS (Network-attached Storage). Note: The RTSP function on eufyCam only works with NAS that supports RTSP protocol. In this FAQ, we will be using Synology NAS as example. This function is now available on Andr...
Gimme a sec to grab the cameras
Perhaps that's wrong being 6 years old. I see it under Camera -> General -> Storage -> NAS(RTSP)
I dont even get a NAS option, on any of my cameras
That's what im trying to say
y'know, like right here?
