I am using this power supply and a usb c cable with it. From my understanding it should be enough, but the raspberry pi 5 keeps giving me undervoltage warnings. Am I misunderstanding the power requirements?

i would guess that its hitting the limit of the dumb 5v power. the RPI doesn't use PD to ask for more (at least i don't think it does). you are better off getting a RPI branded adaptor
