Why are all ESPhome device entities now incorporating the device name in the entity name? | Home Assistant | Page 1

As of upgrading to 2025.5.0, all entities from ESPhome-based devices are showing the Device Name at the beginning of the Entity Name on my dashboards.

Is there an easy way to fix this? I'd hate to have to rename all those entities manually...

What did you upgrade from? Was it old? If so look at the release notes.
