Im positive its an adapter problem on the network interface as the ond enp0s18 and enp0s19 interfaces were on the esxi side.

I know how i would change it on ubuntu for example by changing the netplan to the new ens18 adapter but i don't know enough about HASos to confirm that ens8 is the correct adapter and where to update it

Last image is from another vm on the same cluster's netplan config

Thanks in advance

i would also add i have tried the vmxnet3 and virtIO adapter in the hardware settings under the network settings to no avail

Please share the Hardware tab of the VM.

I'd set CPU to host and add discard for the disk. Not sure how HAOS handles VLAN tags.

good find on the CPU, assuming that takes a layer away and improves preformance on proxmox,

#

booted back up and still the same. as for the vlans, ive about 20 other linux/bsd/windows machines all using the same nics and with the same VLAN tags with no issues

#

below is the output from < ip a >

HA has its own ha network info command.

the mac addresses do match the interfaces on the proxmox side

You can also play around with nmcli but I feel it's best to use ha commands since the OS is managed to such a large degree.
