Pretty much the title, I want to use the VPE as a media player (plugged into speakers via the 3.5mm) with Music Assistant. I can’t seem to find much info about this, was wondering if anyone has tried it or knows how to do it?

What's so hard about it? Just connect it to MA through Home Assistant plugin, it works. I use Koala (basically PE with a bit different hardware) in my bathroom to play music while i'm in shower.

Can you control music on your Kaola by voice command? As: Stop, next, previous, increase volume, decrease volume. Or control home devices while the media player is playing, pause the audio and resume playing music after completing the command

I got couple intent scripts for this, and yes, I can do everything you mentioned. Well, it doesn't pause music, but ducks it. Basically same way it would work on PE.
