#Dual button binding in zigbee2mqtt or zha

I'm moving my Hue devices from the hue bridge to home assistant. I also already sucessfully managed to bind switches and light groups together in zigbee2mqtt but I'm still struggling with one point: I can't find a setting to set up dual button switches with a left and right button as separate buttons. At the moment, both buttons do the same thing but I want to bind them to different light groups.

I tried both zigbee2mqtt and zha but I can't find the aprropriate setting.

Can someone help please?

Hello @river mesa,
Chances are that the devices need to be from the same manufacturer and need to support binding.
There is a mushy standard in zigbee for binding.

Thanks, I'm aware of that. I've already successfully bound a hue wall switch module and a group of lights. My question now is how to get zigbee2mqtt to set up a dual button switch so I can switch two different devices or groups on or off.

You may not be able to. Binding is very device-specific and you often can't do exactly what you want, especially with complex devices. You can look at the Clusters section for the device in Z2M and see if it has appropriate Output clusters for each button, and if you can select different endpoints when setting up the binding. It's just trial and error and you may realize that you just can't do it
