Alternatively research the correct key for your layout by looking at an american keyboard's.
Unfortunately HAOS' devs are not interested in supporting other layouts: https://github.com/home-assistant/operating-system/issues/1775
still get q is not implemented and when I try that key in edit mode nothing happens
Hmm. Can you share a picture?
Press :, then write :wq. Just pressing q alone will not work.
I'd recommend you set up the serial terminal and your keys will work as expecred.
I assumed you use Proxmox VE. That's sad. I'm not familiar with unraid so I cannt tell you how to set this up with it.
Then try to press SHIFT and the key in the marked location of the picture and see if it results in a :.
I just assume your layout is not american.
nothing when I press that key
Try all of them until it looks like this then 😄
in edit mode?
No, Press ESC, then :. Wherever that is. https://www.redhat.com/en/blog/introduction-vi-editor
The only other way I can think of is to use the SSH addon if set up or set up developer SSH.
are both 2 keys right from M ; in US keyboard?
Not sure what you're asking. The picture above is an american keyboard layout.
You can also try ESC and then ZZ.

Or wherever Z would be on the american layout.
but when im in edit mode z is on the z key (nordic keyboard)
