2 events fired for each press of Matter/Thread button

Hi all, I've just picked up a couple of Aqara W100 Climate Sensors which have 3 Matter buttons. All added to HA fine but I've noticed both of them (not always) register multiple events for a single press. The buttons support single, double and hold presses. I have no idea if the button is sending unnecessary events or the issue is later in the chain. Seems unlikely to be a HA issue but I thought I'd raise it here to see if I can get some confirmation either way.

I've captured the double events here, you can see each is a new state with a new context id.

To add to this, these devices also have debug sensors for button position 0 or 1 which update as expected. This possibly suggests why there's 2 states for each press, on then off, 1 then 0.
