Got the HA Voice PE for my birthday - now what?

I got the Voice PE for my birthday and it was an absolute dream to setup. It seems to be responsive most of the time - however the wake word will trigger then it will stop listening which is a tad annoying.

I'm also wondering if there is a way to make it area-aware? I've assigned it's area to my office which has a light and a smart plug (called radiator) in it, but when I ask Nabu to turn on the light, it switches on the light in the living room area. Is there a way to make it interprete "the light" as "the light in my office", or better, the "light in the currently assigned area the Voice is in"?

It should turn on the light that's assigned to the same area as the VPE

Sounds like either something is assigned to the wrong area (device or entity) or maybe you have another voice assistant in the living room that also heard the wake word and responded, which could also explain the other behavior

Interesting it seems to be working now. I set an alias for the light and it seems that did the trick.

I've also had a few times where the device thinks I said the wake word but it was conversation or something from a TV initiating the wake word comma d somehow. Beyond aliases, i also had to increase the wake word beam size and/or the settings to make it more difficult to accidentally trigger the wake word
