I've had mixed experience with the Leviton D26HD/D26HS devices with Matter, and am currently getting my butt kicked trying to install a new batch. Had 1 of 5 work right. I have tried everything imaginable: 1. All upgraded to firmware v. 2.1.25 with the Leviton app. 2. All completely removed from the Leviton app and factory-reset (i.e., 14 seconds until red/amber) afterwards. 3. Never added to HA in any other way. 4. Have tried and tried again with numerous resets (i.e., 7 seconds until amber), factory resets, HA and iPhone restarts, device power cycles, etc. Again...one of them worked right so my Unifi network probably isn't misconfigured. Previously-installed switches have been working flawlessly for many months--except for one that dropped off and also won't rejoin. So doubt it's the network. Thoughts?

Pretty much nothing else going on in the logs at all.

I have similarly failed trying to join them to a SmartThings hub, so it may well be the network. But I've done everything I can think of. It's a moderately complex Unifi network with multiple switches and APs. The devices and HA and iOS app are all on the same network (Unifi for "VLAN"). For the mDNS to pass to the add-on (which it does), I already know that it can/will traverse multiple switches. IPv6 is set to static and SLAAC. mDNS and IGMP snooping are on, but it doesn't change anything when they're off.

OK. Found it. Unifi's "Multicast Enhancement" is NOT your friend in a multi-AP system. It's a WiFi setting that restricts multicast traffic on APs that aren't currently seeing multicast traffic. Turned off that setting, and everything works great.

Any setting Unifi likes to call an "enhancement" should be renamed to "matter kill switch"
