#Music assistant on another server

so my current ha setup is not that powerful and i want to off load everything that is not mission critical over to another server is there a way to do that with music assistant without losing the ability to show it on the sidebar i know with other addons like frigate ( if you have the repo ) you can add an addon proxy version of it

i think there is a problem with that

they wont work outside my house if i use their ip right

i have a way to expose them with my reverse proxy but if they are using iframes they probably wont work

there is THIS on HACS. i havent ever used it myself but you could give it a try

its on the main HACS list, so its been looked over by a few people for sure. but is it 100% safe? i guess not but its open source so you could check it yourself to some extent

so if i am getting this correcly i can just put my proxy domains there and it should work

1 gb ill try to put it at 2 ( yea i know its not that much but i didnt have much of a choice )

yeah, the min recomended in the documentation is 2gb (although personally i would recomend 4). with 1gb you are gunna have issues

its probably stuff running out of memory and the internal containers are getting culled

maybe ill be able to increase to 3 but i doubt it without causing other problems in my server especially with the docker virtual machine

yea i am just making stuff and rn my room runs 2 computers i dont think my parents are going to like a third one

i could ask my father for another second hand pc from his work to add to my proxmox cluster it would help the situation

I have some views on hardware here
something small and low power dedicated to HA like a mini-pc or even an old thin client may work

yea i think the best options rn is either to make the vm a bit larger or ask my father to bring me some old ram sticks and mismatch them
