I have several Raspberry Pi devices (3B+ models and some older Zero models) and a set of unused Sonos One speakers. I’d like to repurpose the Raspberry Pis as smart speakers by adding microphones, and have the audio responses play through the Sonos One speakers. My goal is to only get responses from the speaker located in the same room as the person asking the question.
My questions are:

would this be possible since sonos speakers only have an ethernet cable connection?

would having the questions be processed on pi and then go through a sonos speaker cause any lags? Are there a way around it?

would having the computer that is running HA process complex questions and then send the response back cause more lag or no the pie is powerful enough to process even complex questions?
I'm sorry if my questions are dumb, i'm really trying to learn as much as I can but i'm struggling with a few things.
