Hi everyone. I'm looking for an indoor camera that will be easy to set up with HA.

So far I've been using Aqara G3 (I captured a token and integrated via go2rtc), but then unfortunately HomeKit Secure Video doesn't work in parallel - and my household loves it.

I thought I could buy a second, cheaper camera, e.g. in Chinese stores.

I need the camera for simple automation - if the front door sensor detects movement, take a series of photos and send them to me via discord.

Can anyone recommend something? I was thinking about Reolink E1 Pro, but from what I've read on the internet, not everyone can integrate... maybe someone has a proven link? Or some other camera? So that I can capture a photo via RTSP. The camera can be connected via WiFi or Ethernet + it should have a memory card slot and night vision.

I am using HA on my home server using proxmox. Motion sensor/door sensor are connected via zigbee2mqtt.

Thanks.

Tapo C225 works well for me with HKSV and Home Assistant.

If you want something cheap… couldn’t u use a ESP-32 Cam? Super cheap, easy to integrate. Quality will differ depending on ESP32 power and cam used. I just installed a first ESP32 cam for like 8€

I just ordered 3 more ESP32 cam today. But this time the esp32-s3 wroom which should support higher res/smoother fps. Not sure I will need it, but price is pretty much the same. You can also attach different cameras to the esp. I ordered night vision cams… wonder if that will work
