#Basic dehumidifier using Shelly as dumb hood actuator #dehumidifier #generic_hygrostat

I have no idea what I am failing to understand or doing wrong but this seemingly simple setup is driving me mad.

I have a dumb fumehood connected via a Shelly 1 . The Shelly is used as the switch for the #generic_hygrostat Dehumidifier with a RH sensor in the area of interest.

I've tried tinkering with the settings but no mater what I do the Dehumidifier doesn't remain on even when the humidity is above the setpoint.
It switches on when the trigger point is met and then switches of soon after to be retriggered again.

I could use the minimum state time of 10min but then when it switches of it stays off for 10min even when the RH is way above setpoint.

#

I've give it 5% RH difference below the setpoint and it still gets triggered the second the RH touches the off setpoint

#

My clunky workaround would be to add a helper in between with a rolling average to flatten out the RH response of a pretty fast RH sensor, but was hoping there is a better way.

As I understand the settings this outcome doesn't make sense so I am obviously doing something wrong.
