What's the difference between the different color HA boards ?

the green is a cheaper more basic device based on a rockchip cpu

the yellow has some more power/options and runs on a rpi cm4 or cm5

the full details are in the specs in the documentation

are you new to home assistant? what type of things are you looking at doing? hardware selection depends on various things

No not new I had HA om a VM server that has died just looking at other options

I was thinking of a straight up RPi untill I came across the ha boards

in genreral i dont recomend rpi's tbh.
