#m5stack atom echo yaml

currently no you cant do this. the components that make it possible are currently custom to the voice PE once they are upstreamed to ESPHome main repo then things like this will be possible.
I tried to import the custom components from the VPE into the atom echo to try and get preannounce and stuff working but they don't work. i would suggest waiting for the components to be upstreamed
clear answer! thank you. Would a repo like voice PE work on respeaker lite instead of atom echo?
and if so, what repo.. ๐
i think thee respeaker stuff has custom components too
the respeaker is very close in functionality to the VPE
Ok, today the respeaker will arrive later today, gonna try that. thanks for answering my question
no worries, good luck with it. i havent directly used respeaker myself. its on my project list though ๐

thank you!
Experience so far: i ordered 1 respeaker lite V2 with the esp soldered on, 1 respeaker lite HAT for a raspberry and 1 voicePE from nabu. I dumped the atom echo ๐ , respeaker lite V2 for now installed with original sw, respeaker lite HAT installed on raspberry with rhasspy. Both working nice, but what a pain in the *ss to flash and install. Maybe Nabu can do something with that.. The VoicePE worked (ofcourse) immediatly. Both respeakers doing fine, but can not match the voicePE.
