As the title states, I'm trying to connect my HA instance to an Ollama server which is running on a different machine. After selecting the Ollama "Add Integration" button, and when trying to enter the Ollama instance URL, I received an "Unexpected Error". The URL I'm trying to use is http://192.168.42.208:11443.

I've tried various combinations of the URL, with http, without http, etc, but I'm always presented with the same error.

Anyone stumbling onto this at a later time, the error is pretty non-descript and is only telling you that it is unable to reach the Ollama server. I had to open a port on the host to have Ollama get access to the Ollama instance.

Same issue, can't connect (using Ollama integration) from one Pi running RASP OS with Ollama (downloaded and running) to my other machine a Pi 5 running HA. Tried numerous ideas on video, docs on websites to no avail. Not binding and other errors etc. All Pi's on same (home) network. HA Pi and my other Pi 5 running OMV NAS (all Frigate video files, HA system backups) are connected fine. Also my old Pi 3 is running Pi Hole on this network with no issues. My HA Pi 5 with 1 TB Crucial SSD is running Zigbee, Frigate, MQTT, Reolink, Gemini, LLM Vision, Google Cast, ESP Home, August, Ring, LiFx, Voice PE, ZBT-1, Google Coral, Wyoming etc., (8% processor usage and 3GB of 8GB system memory usage on average) with no issues. Has been fine for about a year and a half so far. I'm giving up at the moment, too much wasted time with no success.

how do you access and open the port on the host, my raspberry Pi running RaspOS with Ollama which has been downloaded on it and running on that Pi so that it can connect with the other Pi running HA and the integration ? Thank you ! Could you point me in the right direction so I can attempt this ? Thanks !
