Hi I have several of these touch screen camera monitor/ intercom/ elevator call apparently tablet things. I can find hardly any information about them online beyond this product page (https://www.zh-mingke.com/product/bsdj/11305.html ) They're PoE powered a have a speaker and a microphone. When I power them on (they're new) i can see no admin options the settings page shows what you see in the second image, if I ping the address listed I get a response but there is nothing there if I navigate to that address from a connected computer. There are 4 UART pins on the back. More pics to follow
#HDFJ7F Tochscreen. Does anybody know how I can use this thing as a home assistant monitor.

From what I can see from the pictures, it looks like that is expecting a signal from a server that allows you to manage it. Do you know what the "F" on the front stands for? I assume that there is some flash memory that stores configuration on the board. The Ankya chipset is basically doing the functions that an esp32 would do from what I am seeing through some searches.
The HDFJ7F touchscreen could be taken off the existing device and used in another configuration, potentially. I would not be able to assist you with that.
I’m not sure what OS this is running? Android? Linux? Ideally I’d like to flash a light weight OS on it. The Ankya chip is based on aroubd an ARM926EJ-S processor which appears to be capable of running Linux
The short answer likely is close to: no you won't be using this to run anything more than what could be considered embedded software.
If the assumption of a 926EJ-S would be correct, you are looking at a hardware design of 2001
I don’t want it to do much more than it was designed to, (view cameras, act as an intercom) I’m just not sure how to make it work as it was designed to since I have no documentation and can’t find any online.
