#sensor update is too late - energy individual devices are shown time shifted

hi folks,
unfortunately I only see the energy consumption of my individual devices a hour time shifted.
I get the kWh values from another integration directly from my heatpump via modbus tcp. Those values are listed as "energy consumption in the last hour". So I get new values for the time period 10am to 11am (the used energy) at around 11.00.50 to 11.01.30...
Unfortunately this seems to be "too late" for the energy integration?! In the diagramm I see the value from 11.00.50 as the used energy for the time period 11am to 12am which will sometimes lead to negative values at the other period.

How can I solve this issue? Can I somehow configure when the energy integration update its values?

You can't control this unfortunately

Values are recorded at the time they arrive

damn... thats unfortunate... Can you think about any workaround? Honestly I would not mind a delay of the whole graph. It is just important for me that the I do not have any negaitve values...

There's no workaround other than messing with the database

Might be worth looking at the integration you are using to see if a change can be requested there. What is triggering the “consumption in the last hour” reading? Does the integration request that value over modbus, or does the heat pump broadcast it at a certain time? Does your heat pump have its own clock? Can you set it ahead 2 minutes? Can you have the integration request the value 2 minutes earlier? Etc….
