I will need at least 2, each for floor

Why do you you need 2? Zigbee is a repeating mesh.

because Zigbee has poor range and I have concrete house. I am even not sure if 2 will be enough.

#

it can't even penetrate to next floor in stable way

#

I don't want to relay on mesh

#

while mesh need to be powered from real electricity (not battery) I can use Zigbee coordinator. Sounds more reasonable for me.

It’s made in Germany and had CE, RoHS, WEEE certifications.

#

I am using this device as a coordinator with zigbee2mqtt. But you can also configure the device to be in Zigbee Router mode.

#

The OpenThread Mode seems to be experimental.

#

It’s compatible with Koenkk‘s Z-Stack firmware and uses an ESP32 and a CC2652P7 Texas Instruments chipset.

Can you compare it to other available devices? The difference is unknown for me between all this coordinators.

No not really, but the P7 chipset is new and does a great job here.

#

I am using it via Ethernet and PoE.

Thank you. I have no idea how to choose, but looks like a choice 🙂 Maybe there are no real differences.

If it is stable, then shoud be ok.
