#HA Cloud Voice Assistant Deleted

I accidentally deleted the HA Cloud voice assistant and now it’s not being recreated when I sign out/sign in back into my account on Home Assistant as per these steps:

“As soon as you’re connected to Home Assistant Cloud, a voice assistant has been created for you.

This voice assistant is using text-to-speech and speech-to-text engines based on the region settings of your Home Assistant user.”

If I try to create the assistant manually I can only select HA Cloud in the TTS option, how do I make use of HA Cloud for conversation agent and STT?

But if I click local it goes ahead and installs all the necessary stuff

so if you make a manual assist pipeline the cloud is just missing from the STT option?

Yeah and also from conversation agent

Maybe I accidentally deleted something I shouldn’t have

its not supposed to be under the conversation agent. the service is for stt and tts

I think I have to reset my HA

But I would rather not have to because I have a lot of stuff installed

restarting home assistant and also ensuring you have latest update is probably best yeah

can you try changing the assist configuration to another language and back? this redraws the STT options i think

Also tried that, doesn’t seem to change

I’ll just reinstall HA and setup all my configs again

i find it interesting that losing a small piece of HA cloud functionality would mandate a decision made in less than half an hour to completely reinstall HA 😅
