Hi Guys - can someone help me with my Octopus setup?
I've managed to get the integration up and running, but when I try to configure the energy dashboard, I can't find the corrent entity.
I'm assuming I need "sensor.octopus_energy_electricity_24j0197812_1012953174738_current_demand" which has my active usage. It's a negative number for when it's exporting.

The only ones it gives me are the cumulative ones. "sensor.octopus_energy_electricity_24j0197812_1012953174738_current_accumulative_consumption"

Is this right? Anyone have a good setup to share? I also have Lux Inverter and batteries, which I've not looked at yet

It is the current accumulative ones you need to use. Both import and export are similarly named I believe. As it logs over time it works out how much the value has changed in each time increment.

I have just checked and you are correct, we only get the Previous accumulative export energy value. That is what I use for the energy dashboard. It does appear to work so may just be a naming thing.

Thank you. I’ll configure tomorrow and see what data comes through

Hi @sacred grove I'm still not getting anything through for thr export. Would you mind sharing your config? Maybe I need to contact Octopus, but things looks fine in their app

This is what I've put in the first export box Previous Accumulative Consumption Export Electricity (Z17N138266/1050003293496) (Standard)
The price is Current Rate Export Electricity (Z17N138266 1050003293496)

The price works fine

Do you have the Octopus Mini? The little pink box that connects wirelessly to your smart meters? I think this may be required to get the export data… but I may be wrong.
