I feel like I've looked all over the place.
And I've only been able to find seemingly two options one of which being kinda bad.
The Qingping air detector lite.
From what I gather online these have little fans that get clogged up with dust and will begin to overheat giving eronious readings that isn't ideal...
Adafruit ESP32-S2 Feather with BME280 via ESPHome
This is less ideal since it'd require me to 3D print a bunch of cases and manually setup and flash each of them.
We need 10-30 sensors.
So far it seems the Adafruit + ESPHome is the cheapest/best way.
Does anyone know of any other alternatives?
Battery powered devices aren't really viable as it'd be extremely cumbersome to swap the batteries especially due to it being an office environment where people would forget and these would be used to control the aircon.
And non wifi devices are unsuitable due to the vast space (We already have wifi everywhere)
So establishing zigbee, bluetooth etc. everywhere would be a big task.
