Not sure why I can't find much information on this and it's driving me nuts.
Does anyone know if these would work with a Zigbee USB dongle? The advertising is confusing on whether or not this "add-on" switch actually has Zigbee of if it should somehow interfaces with the more expensive control unit.

Addon switches usually don't communicate wirelessly. You can see that it has connections for neutral and the traveler

Addon-Switches are secondaries for a primary smart swtich, they are generally not separately controllable, it would work with multiple potential master switches. the description of the item you linked says "Multi-switch operation – The switch is not a stand-alone device. It must be used with a Wi-Fi, Z-Wave or Zigbee smart control for home automation. A smart switch or dimmer and as many as four add-on switches can be linked for operation from up to 5 locations."

Yea I was wondering if that was just to let people know that you need something for it to work, whether that be the master switch or a different Zigbee source
Seems like the best option is to switch to paddle style. Seems like there are a lot more options
