Hi. New here. Have been having issues with backups failing for over a week. When I check documentation, it doesn't appear to be any of the known fixes.
As a second part, is there anyway to go back to the old way of backing up? I had never had any issues with backups before the change?

the backup system was totally rewritten. you should still be able to make manual backs though.
what exactly is the problem you are having?
what type of install do you have?
what version do you have installed?

Even manuals say they failed.
Have a bare metal install of HAOS on a thinkcentre.
Just tried to do a manual, and get this.

i/o error might imply something up with the storage drive. you got a terminal addon installed? might be worth looking at a dmesg to see if anything there?

looks like you might need a new drive and fresh install along with a restrore of the most recent backup you do have
