#Feit Bulbs doesn't work? Will switching to Hue bulbs require their bridge/hub? Any alternatives?

Hi all! I'm a noob to HA -- bought the HA Green + ZBT/Zigbee dongle & was trying to switch everything over from Alexa ASAP. I have a few questions:

(1) does Feit Electric smart RGB bulbs work with HA? I can't get it working so I wasn't sure if it's me or the bulbs. (Or both. lol)

(2) if I need to replace Feit with Hue RGB smart bulbs, will their bridge be required for me to change its colors and automate them (via thirdreality motion sensors)?

(3) is there a HA+Zigbee alternative to Hue that's cheaper, changes colors, and lets me automate them?

looks löike theyre a tuya product so yes they work

for zigbee devices this repository contains a bunch of devices that are known working for certain z2m, zha, etc

just make sure you check for the home assistant logo in your case for zha

Feit is just Tuya aka use the Smart Life app, but like many Tuya devices they have poor wifi connectivity.
