Last week La Marzocco updated their machine firmware to support a new app and in doing so apparently removed the ability to pull data directly from the machine including things like if the shot lever is enabled and the shot timer. The app itself still presents this information and so I'm wondering if there's any way to resume retrieving this data. Or is the machine literally calling out to the internet with its shot status and the app is receiving it from La Marzocco's servers?

even LM acknowledged that they removed local BT support for all but a couple of models and that they realized that it was an "inconvenience" that they were aware of
I think they got a new cloud infra person who's trying to make their mark

my understanding was the prior firmware version was supplying shot timer information locally and not over bluetooth. my current home assistant setup doesn't have any bluetooth connectivity yet I was able to see that and have it on a dashboard.
