I'm new here and to home assistant. I recently installed HAOS on a dedicated pc. I'm thinking about building out on Zigbee (hopefully this is the right choice 🤷♂️) but am also interested in HA Voice. I'm seemingly not able to find documentation. Would HA Voice act as a Zigbee hub that could pass along to my pc or would I still need to get ZBT-1 to interface with IoT devices? Thanks! Hopefully I put this in the right place. Sorry in advance if I didn't.

the HA VPE is not a zigbee device in any way
its an esp32 device with wifi (and bluetooth for provisioning)
so to directly answer, yes you still need a zbt-1 (or other zigbee adaptor) to interact with zigbee devices.
@agile island thank you so much for clarifying that! Now to swipe my cc. 😂
