matter devices not showing up on wifi.

Im currently using homepod mini as a thread border router, everything currently is set up in the home app and havent made the jump to home assistant as i wanted to get everything added to the network first. currently its 10 matter light switches and 13 matter blinds. but when i go to my ubquiti app and look at clients i dont see any of these devices on my home network. everything is currently functioning fine via home app. when i go into home assistant i see the thread service under configured and when i see its through the home pod mini. i also see matter under discovered but when i go to add matter its asking me for the URL.

If they're using thread they won't be on the wifi.

gotchya but i thought matter was over wifi i guess this is matter over thread in this case.

Matter is connection agnostic. It is a protocol.

It works over thread OR over wifi. The devices can support either. That's my biggest complaint about Matter, actually. It's difficult to know whether a device uses WiFi or thread unless it specifically states so
