I normally use custom dashboards, but sometimes, the default overview is still useful to find some less frequently used item. However, I have hundreds of items there, and it is hard to scroll through the whole list, particularly on older tablet devices. I'd like to break up the overview into multiple views (tabs). However, it does not appear this is allowed. Is there a good way to make this happen?
Here is what I tried:
views:
- title: Basement
type: original-states
areas:- basement_bathroom
- ...
But it reports "Unknown type encountered". I'm guessing this is a limitation of original-states, which seems undocumented.
Is there way to get the same effect, so that as things get added to rooms, they will automatically show up in the dashboard?
