Hi,

I have set up duckdns on my HA, port forwarded 443, drunk several cups of strong coffee and I just get the Home Assistant loading page but not the goodies that lie beyond. See attached Image.

I have set duck dns up and added the token and domain address, then set up NGINX fully according to the documentation. and added the nginx_proxy_default_fix_ingress.conf file to the share folder. Set the duckdns address to the network section and forwarded port 443 to the server on the router. this works on the local network but not remotely.

the page I get as shown in the image above comes from

https://xxxxxxxx.duckdns.org/lovelace

So it is sending some information but not completing the deal…

Are there any additional ports for forward?
Do I need to configure anything else to make this work?

I am so close so there must be something simple that I have missed or not done properly.

Can anyone help me please?

Also, this is on a GSM router with EE, could they be blocking the port?

Check that your domain resolves at https://dnschecker.org/
I am also experiencing a lot of recent issues with duckdns, so I switched to a proper domain controlled by cloudflare DNS. It's a shame I had to go that route, but it's a more stable solution :/

Hi, Thank you for that, I ran the tool with mixed results but it has resolved in my country at least (UK) but I have still not been able to get through. I think EE (the GSM Provider) is blocking anything that looks like a server on its network.

On the subject of Cloudflare, can you buy one domain and add multiple subdomains going to several different homeassistant installations?

Yes, you can!
Updating Cloudflare directly, is a much more robust solution.

I just published an addon that let's you update Cloudflare DNS with your public automatically. You can setup the addon on each of your installations and have them target different subdomains on your domain.

The addon is available through my repository here:
