Button to combine with Shelly Plus 1

For the bedroom I want to connect the lamp on the ceiling to Home Assistant. I figure I will buy a Shelly Plus 1 for this. I would also like to turn on/off the light with a button on my bed's nightstand. What do you recommend me for this latter part?

what kind of connectivity do you currently have in your smart home?
just wifi or do yopu have a zigbee setup etc...?

also if your just running a light then a lower power mini devices will do the job just as well and be smaller e.g. the "Shelly 1 Mini Gen3" (although i should point out that the gen4 is being released right now and depending on where you are depends if you can easily get it or not)

also benifit of the newer gen devices instead of the older one is that they have a bluetooth proxy feature which HA can use. then you can use BLE devices through it. you could then go all in on shelly and get a "Shelly BLU Button1" which comes in various colours and use that for control

or you could get an esp32 and literally any button you want. then rig it up

getting a gen3 or gen4 shelly relay that has the bluetooth gateway and a BLE button is probably the easiest out thee box solution. if you want to go homebrew then the sky's the limit
