Home Assistant Preview Allows Garage Door Open and Door Unlock without Pin

Hi,
I'm migrating from amazon to Home Assistant Voice Preview Edition and I just discovered that I can open the garage and unlock doors without a pin. I looked in documentation, threads, and this section for others asking about this and I only saw people saying it didn't work in Amazon (I didn't have that problem).

Is somebody able to tell me if I'm able to create a secure pin for opening garage door and unlocking doors for use with Home Assistant Voice Preview Edition? Better yet, able point me to the instructions to make it happen? Will the <secure_devices_pin> help in this scenario? The instructions seemed geared for google and amazon only.

As of now, i don'/t think it's available. For that it'd need ability to ask you for pin - but continuous conversation is still in development.

as a work around i guess you could not let assist have direct access to the entity to open it and instead have an automation triggered by a custom sentence to trigger it to open it. that way your sentence trigger could be "open garage door authenticate pin one two three four" or whatever star trek style command you can think of 🙂
