Hardwiring USB power behind drywall? Advice needed

I am looking to add a mmWave sensor above my bathroom ceiling, however it is USB powered - are there any off the shelf hardwired USB power supplies suitable for 5v 2a? Is there another hardware term I should be searching for? Not much comes up on Google.

you wire 1 side onto your AC and the other side onto a usb connector like this - https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005006044405766.html
as long as your device only needs a dumb 5v power supply (which is most sensors) then you should be fine

PLEASE BE CAREFUL! if you don't know what you are doing then get an electrician

can also just get a normal usb charger and cut the plug off and wire it in. this also gives you room to add more in the future 🙂

or just wire a plug socket behind the wall if theres room

Ubiquti sells a poe to usb c adapter. I’ve used them to great success on remote devices like this.
