#Bluetooth control on Android 14

put your phone in a Faraday Box when you get home 🙂
different automation app Like tasker or Automate
you can send broadcast intents from ha with the notify service and they can respond to it
tasker wont work either afaik as android removed teh ability for every app after a specific version
I did wonder if it was not possible, I will add an automation to remind me if I am home for more than 10 minutes with Bluetooth still on.
i have a galaxy s23 thats on one ui 6 which to my understanding is based on android 14, and i can control my bluetooth. im using automate rather than tasker though, but automate says it works on android 13+, i assume its similar for tasker
it certainly is possible
I will have a look at automate, but I am not keen on it's privacy level.
it has in app permission settings to enable or disable permissions, all of its permissions are explicitly to allow you to control said things and no other reason
I see to toggle Bluetooth I need to install an extra non store legacy extension so I might leave it. https://llamalab.com/automate/doc/extensions.html
