Looking for some advice on whether I’m having a hardware issue or software?
I’m running HA on a Home Assistant yellow, with a Pi CM4 installed with 8GB RAM and 16GB EMMC, and a 250GB NVME SSD.
Constantly over time I’ve had ‘connection lost, reconnecting message on the HA iOS app, but recently my HA has started to crash and stop working, needing to be disconnected from power and reconnected to regain access.
As HA controls my home battery charging schedule, this can lead to the batteries not being charged from grid at cheap rate if the system goes down.
On checking the stats, the system is often using 6GB RAM and 25-50% of processing power.
Would upgrading any part of the system help alleviate this? Do I need to migrate to a more reliable system?
If so, is this easily done?
