if you use the esphome builder addon and adopt the device you can customise it. the stock options you can program for microwakeword are okay nabu/hey jarvis/hey mycroft/alexa customising is not impossible but not super easy

the atom echo is a very cheap unit designed mostly for voice development. you are not going to get amazing performence out of it

Also, be sure to set the media volume to max in order to be able to barely hear the tiny speaker in it.

firstly: don't suggest giving random people access to your system, its just asking to be compromised

are you asking about using one of the pre-existing models or a totally custom model?

what knowledge do you have about customising ESPHome devices with the builder tool?
