I have been using location tracking on my companio app for a couple of years without issue but in the last few weeks it has largely stopped updating. In general when leaving the house I get in the car and connect to Android Auto and location tracking has been pretty much instant but like this morning I left the house, was gone for a good 10 minutes but HA never has me as being away from home at all. Timeline in Google Maps has tracked my movement accurately and was updating as I went so the phone location is right but that isn't getting back to HA any more.
I know Google have been making changes with their location settings and APIs in the last few weeks but no-one else seems to be raising this so not sure if that is the reason. I can't see that anything has changed, app still has (precise) location permissions , app has background location / location zone / single accurate location enabled and my wife's (iOS) phone still seems to be updating fine so seems to be down to Android (possibly recent Pixel update, possibly recent Google changes???)
Any ideas why having worked flawlessly for a few years this has decided to not update at all?
